CONTAINER DRY 800 is a specially formulated desiccant product designed to actively reduce humidity inside the container. By reducing the humidity, CONTAINER DRY 800 can easily protect cargo from moisture damage while goods are in transit. CONTAINER DRY 800 is available in cloth and plastic bags with tie strings for customers who prefer to hang CONTAINER DRY 800 from container hooks.

Humidity Problems

Whenever goods are moved from a hot climate to a cooler climate, condensation will occur because warm air holds more water than cold air. When the temperature inside the container is lower, the air will reach the dew point and the water will condense. This is when fungus, mould and mildew occurs, damaging the goods. Worse yet, if the water condenses on the surface of metal products, corrosion occurs.
